New faces become old friends and memories are born.

As summer approaches and my girls ( wait staff) go home for the summer, I feel like a Mom that is watching her 5 year old go to kindergarten for the first time. The college kids that work with me at the restaurant become a part of Havana Road. I get use to seeing them every day, hear their stories about life, love and academics. We bond, they care ---then they leave. That is life. I know that they take with them some pride in knowing that they were a part of the growth of Quintana Enterprises Inc., t/a Havana Road. I tell them that ten years down the road when they have  new jobs, husbands, kids, to remember and feel good about the role they played as Havana Road went from infancy to blossoming as a company. Thank you. Thank you for working with me, for treating our guests as family and for sharing little bits of your life with me. I will miss all of you that are leaving. It is the circle of life-something good must come to an end to give way to the new. Carinos, Marta
